We are pleased to announce what we hope will become an annual Fredericksburg charitable event "Let’s Stitch". The Fredericksburg Spinners and Weavers Guild, in affiliation with From the Heart Stitchers, will be hosting this all-day event.
We will be knitting and crocheting to benefit many local groups. There will be ongoing demonstrations throughout the day as well as light refreshments. Bring your friends, mothers, sisters, brothers and join us for a day of fun, fiber and philanthropy!

Knitty - For the men who shave their heads for chemo, here's a "bald-friendly" hat from Jesse Loesberg: It does have a small, rolled edge...it was designed and created by a guy. He used a yarn containing merino wool, microfiber, and cashmere because he needed a mid-weight hat to wear around San Francisco. If that's too warm for summer, maybe there is a soft cotton yarn (microfiber would be great).
